Principal
Clare Marks is a highly-experienced Certified Practising Accountant, a registered BAS Agent and a Chartered Governance professional. Clare is registered with the Australian Tax Practitioners Board. After completing an Economics degree, she lived and worked in Sydney for over a decade honing her skills as a commercial accountant. She has since lived in the UK and now back in Australia and worked across a variety of industries.
As the principal of EDGE SME, Clare specialises in assisting small businesses in the service and construction industries and other trades, to be more successful.
She is experienced at committee/board level with ‘not for profit’ and public unlisted enterprises; with crisis financial management, capital raising, local and state government liaison, policy documentation, governance and risk management and stakeholder management.
Relishing the digital environment, Clare is always looking for best practice and continually training in technical skills whilst enjoying her cycling and other sporting hobbies.
